MY OPINION ABOUT PUBLIC SPEAKING COURSE

I think this subject give positive impact to me. It prepares and teaches me for future life. Maybe one day I will be public speaker and have to deal with people outside. I have learned and got many tips during public speaking class. It will make easy to me future. Also maybe at my work, my companies want to make a new design for their product .I have experience make own packaging for my product so I can contribute my skill that I have learned.

Also it improves my English. Nowadays our country use English as second language. All need English, if we don’t know to speak English it difficult to ourselves to communicate with other people. At this class I have learn many words from my friends during their presentation. Also at preparation time before I had to make presentation I had use dictionary as reference.

This course also improves our general knowledge. During forum we had to find any current issues in Malaysia. It needs me and friends to search internet and read newspaper to find our issue that will be discuss.

It also reduces my nervousness. Can you imagine I had to make a presentation in front of more than 30 members in my class. It’s not only one times but five times I had to make a presentation. A little bit makes me more confident.

Conclusion these subjects give many advantages even this subject is very difficult to me. I got increase my knowledge also. Also it help during my interview soon. I hope I can get best result for this subject. Thank you to my lovely lecturer, madam Hartini and my classmates.

EXPERIENCE DURING PUBLIC SPEAKING

First I took this subject I've always thought, can l do the best for this subject, which I think there is very difficult because I need to talk in front of people. I’m shyness person. Can I do??? How to attract audiences? How to be a good speaker? How to persuade people? How to be brave in front of people? How my presentation be interesting and enjoy. But after following public speaking class with madam Hartini I got many tips that will help me to make presentation soon at class. I learn how to reduce my shyness and have high confident level to talk in front of people.

The first presentation is informative speech. Present about my collage that reflect myself and my future. I had to do with my creativity to make a cute collage. My heart is pounding fast at the time. So nervous. I was among the first that selected by madam Hartini to make the presentation. But I try to be cool and reduce my shyness during the presentation. And I got support from my classmates. Second presentation, I had to make forum that discuss about current issue in Malaysia. My group that consists of 5 members has chosen baby dumping as our topic. It needs me and friends to share and combine our ideas. Third is persuasive speech. In my view persuasive speech is very happy presentation because it needs our creativity to create packaging for our new product. Also at this time I can taste many types of foods and drink from my friend. Next is impromptu speech. This presentation is more scared than other presentation because I need to pick up anything in box then I must to present about the item at the time without any script.

For me, public speaking gives a sweet memories in this semester. All presentation give me a new experiences. Even I weak in English but I try to improve my language. With experience makes me better than before.

MY DREAMS

Assalamualaikum and hello everybody.

Talk about dreams, I have lots of dreams. Everyone have their own dreams. Like me, I have my own dreams too. Dreams maybe some people think this is only false desires that will never come true. But in my view, a dream teaches us to try to get what we want in our lives.

Everyone wants to succeed in their lives, same with me. I wants perfection in my life. Firstly for the short dreams, I want to finish my study at there, KPTM Kuantan with success. Then I get continue my studies more high level like degree and master.

After that I want to find work experience. Then I want to have my own business such as spa and cosmetics product like Dato’ Sosilawati have. I want to have my own building and have branch in Malaysia also maybe one day around the world and all people know about my product. I want to be a successful businesswoman and be followers by others.

After I have a lot of money, I want to build my own bungalows that have many facilities like swimming pool, jamming and gymnasium. I want to bring my parents and family to stay with me. Also, for my dreams car, I want Lamborghini because the car is very elegance and sporty. I love this car very much. I hope I can get it.

After that I want to get married with someone who I love. Then I get cute kids. I love kids very much. I want to teach them to be a good people one day.

I also want to bring my parents and family to Makkah as our responsible as Muslim. After that I also want to bring my family to vacation around the world. I love vacation very much because I get increase my knowledge with see history and culture of another country.

I hope one day my dream become true..

CHALLENGING IN PUBLIC SPEAKING

Today, I want to share about challenges in public speaking that I took this semester. Public speaking is subject that all student in semester 5 should take. I’m so scared. This subject we don’t have any exam but we must doing five tasks that are many of presentation. There is informative speech, forum that consist 5 groups members, and then we have persuasive speech, blog and group discussion. Our mark for this subject is based on our presentation and this blog. So, I must do the best!

What is public speaking?? Public speaking is the process of speaking to a group of people in a structured, deliberate manner intended to inform, influence, or entertain the listeners. Some people when we talk about we have to deal with the public they will be scared. The reason why it is so terrifying is that you are performing in front of lots of people who you may or may not know well. For those that are first experience to be a public speaker maybe their nervous more than who have experience. Our nervous will cause many of problems such as when you are very lack of confidence, you become nervous in front of people then you can’t perform very well. So an audience does not receive clear information. So before public speaking, we must make fully preparation.And if you think you can't do,take action with rehearse and then rehearse again. Also take time to relax our minds.

For public speaking no need to use high levels language but enough with the language that easy to understand by audiences and our information receive by them. Also, our listeners don't know what we were going to say. They don't know in what order we were going to present our material. And unless they know our heart beat, they usually can't even pick up on our nervousness. So, unless you want people to know about your weakness, don't tell them! And never apologize for your performance. Only give your listeners what you want them to know.

Do you know about persuasive speech?

Today I would like to share my experience during persuasive speech that I have done 4weeks ago. Persuasive speech is when you want to make others believe that what you are saying is totally true. Your audience may think that that is utterly impossible; nevertheless, you have to make them change their mind by using all your strategies, so that your audience, or part of your audience, will believe that you are right.

I’m with my partners, Noor Hazirah Zubir have chosen the Giffarine Company that produce cosmetics product as our product. We change the name to GFL Company. We als

o change our new design to the product.

I think it's not an easy task because it requires skill to persuade people interested with our product. But I with my friends try to become the best during our persuasive speech. A lot of advantages that I got from the presentation. During the presentation, it teach me and friends to be a creative to create our own names and own design for the product. I can see many of ideas from friends to make their product more interested.

I’m very happy during the presentation because I can try sample like chocolate, cocktail, ice creams, cookies and many others product that my friends produce. Also I can see many design that are very cute and funny that my friends make that sometimes not thought of the mind. But maybe combination from 2 people makes it more easy and interesting. We all try to do the best even we have doing mistakes because “nobody perfect”. But we enjoy with our presentation. And we’re very happy.

Conclusion, I’m very happy during persuasive speech. Who know one day I will be personal selling. I have my own experience and I have learned many things. So it can reduce my nervousness and it makes me easy to do.
